Outreach and Education
As less than 38% of people in Ludlow and district have access to a car, transportation is a key barrier to physical access to the Assembly Rooms. We are currently undertaking an access audit and seeking ways to work in partnership with other agencies to ensure that transport is available for people in rural regions to come and see performances. Where this is not feasible, selected events and activities will take place in alternative spaces (e.g. residential homes, village and school halls etc.) to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy our programme of events.
We also make every effort to ensure that our events, films and activities are as accessible as possible by catering for all ages and tastes. Our Education Programme provides life-long learning opportunities for all - making the arts as fun, fascinating and welcoming as possible.
