Borderlines Film Festival

Borderlines Film Festival returns to Ludlow Assembly Rooms from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 March for a packed weekend of cinema treats.

Peter Burden, David Hemmings’ ghostwriter, introduces a rare screening of Blow-Up, the epitome of ‘60s cool, while director Charles Garrad brings his mystery drama Waiting For You starring Colin Morgan of Merlin fame to Ludlow. Titles screening before their UK release date are British period drama Lady Macbeth, based on a dark 19th century Russian novella, as well as The Odyssey, the stunningly shot barnacles-and-all biopic of legendary deep-sea explorer, filmmaker and environmentalist Jacques Cousteau and, for all ages, Chinese- American graphic-novel based animation Rock Dog.

The Festival, now one of the largest in the country, celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2017 with 84 films, including 28 previews, screening in 24 venues across Herefordshire, Shropshire and the Welsh Marches from Friday 24 February to Sunday 12 March.
