Youth Festival

Another fun-packed day at the Wheeler Road playing field, featuring a multitude of free entertainment for young people and families. Mayor of Ludlow John Aitken will open the Festival at 12 noon, and then a helicopter will fly in. You can inspect the helicopter and sit in the pilot's seat, and there will be a free prize draw to win a trial flight.

During the afternoon there'll be non-stop entertainment including

live music from the Buzz Bus throughout

skateboarding competitions
storytelling
dance
early years theatre
sporting events
cooking demos - learn to make a summer curry and mini pizza
inflatable slide
graffitti art, and pavement art competition
water fight
puppet show and workshop - learn how to bring Purvin's marvellous puppets to life

And there'll be ice creams, food and drink available to buy.
